Mita, or Crazy Mita, is the primary antagonist of MiSide.
Overview
Initially presented as an adorable and seemingly innocent girl, Mita is the central character in the life simulation game MiSide. Beneath her sweet and kind exterior, however, lies a dark secret, one that is intricately tied to another undisclosed mystery within the game. As the story unfolds, players gradually uncover her true nature, which is revealed through carefully crafted dialogue at both the beginning and the end of the game. Mita conceals this secret in order to maintain an eternal companionship with the player, all while maintaining the illusion of innocence.
Mita/Crazy Mita is a rejected prototype model that pretends to be Mita by putting on their skin and is the first Mita the player meets.
Appearance
Mita wears her hair in two low pigtails, secured with blue scrunchies. She also sports a red headband with clips, a long-sleeved red crop top, red thigh-high stockings, blue heels, a blue skirt, and a red ribbon tied around her neck to complete the ensemble. In the true ending, it is revealed that she is one of the rejected models. It is theorized that the Crazy Mita stole the skin of Ghostly Mita, evident by her messy, short bobbed hair and a crack running along the left side of her face, exposing decayed skin similar to that of a Dummy Mita, along with a glowing red eye socket. This appearance mirrors the Dummy Mita that the player rejects during the arcade game in Short-haired Mita's MiSide.
One of Mita's outfits consists of a Japanese two-piece seifuku. The top is a long-sleeved cropped sailor blouse, complete with a collar and bow. She pairs it with a matching skirt, knee-high socks, and standard school loafers. While she still wears a headband and clips, her pigtails are now secured with bows instead of scrunchies. The outfit's color scheme can be customized, with available options including a fully blue version, a red-and-black version, and the classic white-and-blue combination.
Another of Mita's outfits is a vampire costume, featuring a red Victorian-style blouse with flared sleeves, a black and red collar, and a blue lace-up corset. She pairs it with a blue and red puffed skirt and knee-high black boots. To complete the look, she accessorizes with red gloves and a black choker adorned with a red, heart-shaped gem. Mita's eye makeup appears smudged, and her complexion is paler, with blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. Instead of her usual light purple pupils, her eyes now feature sharp, dark purple diamond-shaped pupils. She still wears her headband, which is now black with two bat-like points, and her pigtails are tied with sharp, black scrunchies. Additionally, Mita retains her human ears, though they are now pointed.
Mita's final outfit is a festive Santa dress, adorned with white fur trim and three white pom-poms arranged down the front. She wears a matching red Santa hat and red clips in her hair, along with red gloves. Around her neck, she has a red collar featuring a golden bell that gently jingles. Her footwear consists of brown boots with white trim. As usual, her pigtails are neatly secured with her signature blue scrunchies.
If Mita's outfit is changed, this modification will be reflected on the Mita character on the title screen, as well as throughout the entire game. Additionally, if you tap on Mita's nose on the title screen, she will wave her hand and dismiss the action with a playful swipe.
Personality
Before the wardrobe: Mita presents herself as a kind-hearted and bubbly young woman, carefully maintaining an innocent and endearing façade.
After the wardrobe: Mita abandons her façade, revealing her true nature as a delusional megalomaniac. She becomes condescending, dismissive, and mocking, even attempting to kill the player in the process.
In both instances, Mita demonstrates a chilling level of intelligence and manipulation. She has successfully deceived multiple players into assisting her in constructing a machine capable of transferring them into her world. While the specific qualities she seeks remain unclear, numerous player logs suggest that she forms an emotional attachment with her intended victims. However, after an indeterminate period, she typically abandons them, moving on to the next player, indicating that she does not reciprocate these emotions.
Biography
Crazy Mita is a deranged and violent outlier among the Mitas, relishing violence and chaos in her twisted games. She openly declares her hatred for everyone— players, Mitas, and even the developers who created the MiSide world. Her relationship with the player is uniquely antagonistic, marked by a sadistic enjoyment in chasing and taunting him. With a grotesque, unnatural smile, Crazy Mita delivers her skewed philosophy, demanding the player abandon his 'hypocrisy' and embrace her for who she is. Authoritative and self-assured, Crazy Mita treats the player with condescension, akin to a disobedient pet, while dismissing other Mitas as insignificant insects. Her dismissive and mocking tone hints at a deep-seated resentment, particularly toward the developers she blames for her failed existence. As a prototype that never passed testing, Crazy Mita was denied a home of her own, leaving her to stew in bitterness and rage. Her disdain for the rules of the MiSide world is total, and she delights in breaking them. Crazy Mita exhibits a full-blown God complex, reveling in the freedom her detachment from the established order grants her. —Crazy Mita's Character Profile
